HMLTD SATAN, LUELLA & I

Fresh from a storming set at End of The Road Festival this weekend, London's eccentric art-punk trailblazers HMLTD have dropped a theatrical new track called 'Satan, Luella & I'. The 6-minute spectacle saunters seamlessly between moments of heart-felt romanticism and hardened 80s-twinged punk, lead confidently by singer Henry Spychalski's charismatic sneer. Despite being well-known for their theatrical attire, the unstoppable 6-piece have caught us off guard once again with a decadent musical-theatre-esque chorus complete with uplifting backing vocals, which wouldn't sound out of place in one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's West-End productions, yet miraculously it's still edgy. HMLTD will play their biggest headline show to date at London's Electric Ballroom on the 24th of October. Catch them while you still can. -HLMX
